Department of Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is the art and science of designing, development and control of systems and components such as fluid mechanics, material science, thermodynamics, kinematics, etc. Mechanical engineers use these core concepts along with tools like computer-aided design (CAD) and product lifecycle management to design, analyze, and manufacture equipment. The Mechanical Engineering department has a pool of qualified and experienced professors.

Mechanical Engineering at K. K. College of Engineering & Management, Jharkhand's Best Engineering College, focuses on understanding how things work and applying that knowledge in real-world execution. This learning-enriched department aims to nurture students and transform them into engineers capable of high-level performance.

In the current era of a knowledge-based economy, engineering education plays a vital role in the socio-economic development of the country. The emergence of a new and modern India has created a palpable need for a large number of professionally trained young men and women having expertise in all fields with the hallmark of adaptability, quality consciousness, discipline, and commitment to boost the country's economic growth.

The K. K. Group of Institutions, the parent body of K. K. College of Engineering & Management, has been working in Jharkhand and Bihar since 1993 for the promotion of Technical Education. With an aim to curb brain drain, the organization strives to provide "Technical Education for All" by offering job-oriented Vocational, Diploma, and Degree-level courses relevant to the changing needs of time and preparing students to become entrepreneurs.

Work in areas such as Production, Thermal Design, CAD, CAE/CAM, Simulation & Industrial Applications, Automotive, Manufacturing and Design Industries.

The department aims

  • To impart high quality education with interactive theoretical and practical classes together with Tour, Training & Colloquium.
  • To create responsible mechanical engineers with technical and managerial competence.
  • To instill an acumen for creating new machines with innovative endeavor.
  • To enlighten with industrial visit and training.
  • To design and simulate in dry and wet laboratories.
  • To integrate other branches of engineering.
  • To inculcate the zeal of pushing the nation ahead.
